26 total lions killed this season print

The 2012-2013 Mountain Lion Season hunting status now stands at 26 lions brought down so far.  The last three lions, taken on the 20th, the 23rd and the 24th of this month, were all shot in Lawrence County.

They were all females.The one taken on the 20th was estimated to be three or four years old.The one on the 23rd was about one and a half years old. The lion taken on the 24th was two or three years old.Of the 26 lions killed so far this season, fifteen have been females.  The season ends on March 31st or if one hundred total lions or seventy females are brought down.
