Buffalo Wild Wings in Rapid City put Rush hockey players to work Monday evening, serving up trays of food for tips in return. The 3rd annual Tip-A-Player event took place Monday evening with 100 percent of all tips going to Black Hills Special Olympics. Black Hills Special Olympics is a local organization that makes it possible for dozens of area Special Olympians to compete in various sporting events each year.

For Rush team captain Scott Wray, it's his third year being a part of this event.

Wray says, "It's an honor to be here and help them out and just to give a little awareness to the Special Olympians. They don't get enough funding, so every little bit helps."

Wray said the Black Hills is full of generous people; one couple tipped $50 dollars for their $12 dollar bill.
