Another Habitat home nearly complete
Monday, 21 January 2013 12:23
A Habitat for Humanity house is nearing completion in the Robbinsdale area of Rapid City as some volunteers put on a few final touches with their paint brushes Monday. A handful of volunteers were on site at the 1,100 square foot house located on East Idaho Street.

Volunteers focused on painting on Monday, but on Saturday they were doing lighting and woodwork.

Larry Deibert, a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, says it's a great feeling being able to help others, especially on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Deibert says they still have some lighting and plumbing work to finish but they expect to be finished by the end of January. Volunteers say the house dedication will be around mid-March.
