More than three hundred Ellsworth Air Force Base Airmen are on their way overseas tonight following their deployment Saturday.  Air Force officials say the base will also be sending several B-1 bombers, equipment, and supplies from the 28th Bomb Wing to provide ground troops air support in southwest Asia.

The 350 officers and Airmen went through the deployment procedures this afternoon after saying goodbye to their families and loved ones.Senior Airman Nery Bolano says it's her first time deploying and she's very excited and a little nervous.

Nery Bolano says, "Yes it is a big day. I'm very exited, a little nervous. I don't know what to expect. This is my first time deploying. So I'm just ready to rock 'n' roll."

Since 2007, the 28th Bomb Wing, which flies B-1 bombers out of Ellsworth Air Force Base, has had an average of 560 airmen deployed at any one time.
