New exhibit all aglow at the Dahl

If you're hoping to see a little art this weekend no need to travel. The Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City is GLOWING with a new exhibit!  This is what Rapid City artist Bob H. Miller calls Glow Pop Art.

Using the same reflective material that's used for street signs Miller creates collages that truly pop when they're in just the right light.  He also has experimented with painting using paints that glow under a black light.  Miller says, "And the inspiration for both of these things has been radiant color. Ever since the beginning of my career, I've tried to find something that would show brilliant color. Just plain bright color doesn't work. This stuff has light coming out of it."  Miller's exhibit opened Friday evening at the Dahl.  He says a grant from the South Dakota Arts Council helped make it all possible.
