That's why they're partnering with Main Street Square and nationally known ice sculptor Randy Finch to help 'Carve out Senior Hunger' with a series of special events Saturday afternoon and evening in downtown Rapid City. Finch and his Michigan based ice sculpting crew will host ice carving demonstrations throughout the day, and a chili cook off will help raise funds for the MEALS program. The ice festival kicks off Saturday morning at Main Street Square at 10 and will continue until 6 o'clock tomorrow evening. A steak dinner at the downtown VFW will also help raise funds to round out the day's events from 6 to 8. -Brendyn Medina |
