Cavs outlast Pats in boys’ basketball action
Tuesday, 11 December 2012 15:44
The Cobblers had the day off but Douglas and St. Thomas More went at it Tuesday night in a doozy. First quarter and the Cavaliers get off to a hot start. Jaron Laurenti spots up from the top of the circle and drains the three pointer as St. Thomas More takes the early lead.

Later in the quarter Landon Kudrna goes down to the low post to Laurenti. He can't find anyone open so he takes it himself and scores as the Cavs go up by 6.

Douglas was not intimidated tonight. Kenyatta Lattimore gives it up to Aaron Murphy who bangs home the three ball and here come the Patriots.

Then check out Jake Sullivan with the pretty back door pass to Jacob Henderson for the easy lay in as the game continues to go back and forth.

As the quarter is winding down Matt Vincent inbounds the pass to Austin Schaffer who rattles home the jumper from the elbow.

The game would go down to the last minute where Jaron Laurenti hits the go ahead three pointer and St. Thomas More fends off Douglas tonight 40-38.
