FOX’s Finest: 12-10-12
Monday, 10 December 2012 15:39
Local grapplers hit the mat at the Rapid City Invitational, one local basketball player has eyes in the back of his head and a member of the Rapid City Rush does everything he can to get the offense going. All of that and more comprise this week's edition of the Fox's Finest.

3. On Tuesday the Rush battled a former team mate in Les Reaney as the Wichita Thunder came calling. The rookie Jeff Lee, fends off the defender with one arm and then fires the shot under the glove of Kevin Regan. Lee's second goal of the year gives the Rush the 1-0 lead.

2. The Cavaliers boys team was hitting on all cylinders on Friday night against Hot Springs. Check out Conor Merriam with the gorgeous no-look to Jacob Henderson for the double-clutch hoop and foul.

1. The Rapid City Invitational offered some of our local kids the chance to go at it with wrestlers from three other states. In the 170 pound bracket, Custer's Clayton Wahlstrom had a heck of a match with Mandan's Konner Peterson. Peterson grabs the early lead as he gains control here. But there was no quit in Wahlstrom. Jump ahead to the third period Wahlstrom gets Peterson in the cradle and that's all she wrote. Clayton gets the pin and he is your 170 pound winner.
