Deer Mountain opens some slopes on Saturday

The ski season is now well underway in the Northern Hills winter sports district.  Terry Peak opened for its first days of skiing last weekend, and Saturday, SkiMystic at Deer Mountain opened up as well.

Not all the ski slopes are open at either mountain but at SkyMystic, the tube slopes and the beginner slopes are open.  And SkiMystic is offering special deals for groups.

John Ross says, "We have some great packages if somebody wants to go on our website for groups or for field trips for schools, whether that's home schools or churches. There are just fantastic prices. People can learn how to ski. We throw in a free lunch with it with a field trip."

For more information on the snow sports at SkiMystic, you can go to www.skimystic.com
