Pin-up calendars raise funds for local school

They rolled out the calendars for their Community Dough fund in hopes of raising money for local grade schools.  The Colonial House Restaurant and Bar hosted a Retro Pin Up Calendar signing event with the models themselves on hand to sign.

The owner of the restaurant says their Community Dough fund is supplemented throughout the year and donated to a local elementary school.  Over half of the money from the calendar purchases will go towards the fund but the Colonial House is no stranger when it comes to helping out the community.  Colonial House Owner Kevin Beshara says, "Every year the raising that we do of the money is usually through the Colonial House, it's whether they wear t-shirts to work, or if we have our Monday, Civic Mondays, we do $2 off a ticket on Civic Mondays and that money kind of combines all year long. Our though is we live here, we work, we play, so we always give back to the community."  Beshara says they hope to raise $10,000 dollars this year with a part of that coming from calendar sales to donate to local schools.
