Broncs battle Patriots on the high school hardwood
Tuesday, 04 December 2012 15:52
On to the high school hardwood we go where the Belle Fourche girls tipped off their season on the road against Douglas.

Early in the game the Lady Broncs want to get out and run. Liz Day takes the pass strong to the hole and finishes giving Belle Fourche the early lead.

Next time down the floor Belle wants to go pick and roll. Day slashes to the hole and feeds Fehrin Ward for the easy bucket as the Lady Broncs extend the lead.

Two possessions later the Broncs are from a one man band. Shelbie Budmayr goes high off the glass for the bucket and becomes the third Bronc to score to start the game.

Douglas would respond as Ashley Johnson gets the quick hitter to fall and she draws the foul.

And from the department of, if it aint broke don't fix it. Day and Ward go back to the pick and roll. This time Ward hits and draws the foul. Belle Fourche was up by 10 in the first half.
