Boys Club gets load of Christmas trees

the Rapid City Club for Boys got a special delivery Friday morning; a whole truck load of Christmas trees!   The delivery marks the start of the club's annual Christmas tree fundraiser.   It's one the club says  is their most important of the year.

This year's fundraising goal is set at $35-thousand dollars in profits generated from the tree sale and the club says it all goes to pay for the variety of activities they offer Rapid City's youth.  Special projects director Dave Oyler says, "All of that money goes directly into programming to help support the activities we have at the club; activities like our feeding program, homework help, trips and outings for the boys, and so it just supports all of that."Oyler says the tree sale is set to start the day after Thanksgiving but if anyone wants to purchase a tree before then they won't turn down a sale for their good cause.
