CUSTER, S.D. (AP) _ The following animals are set to be sold Saturday at the annual buffalo auction in western South Dakota's Custer State Park.
Crowds begin gathering at 9 a.m. MST for the 10 a.m. auction start at the buffalo corrals on Wildlife Loop Road.
_27 mature bred cows
_16 mature open cows
_43 2-year-old bred heifers
_Three 2-year-old open heifers
_Nine yearling heifers
_61 heifer calves
_62 bull calves
_19 yearling bulls
_Five 2-year-old grade bulls
_11 2-year-old breeding bulls
_17 burros
