The car was spotted again just after midnight at East St. Joe and St. Charles. Police say that chase ended with the car crashing into a fence at the Central States Fairgrounds.

The driver, 20-year old Kylie Backus of Rapid City, was charged with eluding police and aggravated eluding. Police say they determined a passenger, a 16-year old girl, was the driver in the earlier pursuits. She faces a host of charges of her own.
