Polling starts to wind down
Tuesday, 06 November 2012 11:57
Today is Election Day and voters across the nation have made their way to the polls to make sure their voice is heard.

Precincts in Pennington County saw their fair share of voters with an expected voter turnout of 75 percent. Pennington County Auditor Julie Pearson says numbers are great today and things have been running smoothly. But she says they have seen some confusion, after redistricting caused some precincts and polling places to move to different locations than in past elections.

Pearson says, "We do have a lot of people calling in and that's not normal for this type of election. We're expecting a high turnout and we're fielding those calls and we've had a couple complaints and we deal with those like we do in the regular process just to make sure our process works well."

Polling places will stay open until 7 o'clock this evening, we'll have full coverage of tonight's results on Black Hills FOX News at Nine.
