Plenty of folks around the Black Hills are entering contests to show off their Halloween outfits but this weekend some local pets got a canine costume contest of their own.      The Rapid City PetCo held its fourth annual pet costume contest where eight furry participants along with their owners came out for the event all in hopes to have the best costume. The first-place prize went to Gunnar a Rat Terrier dressed as a cowboy. And second place was awarded to Nitro a Yorkie decked out as a little spider. All the participants went home with a bag of treats and the top two dogs also left with a brand new toy to chew on.
