Hundreds of people, including Vice President Joe Biden, have made their way to Sioux Falls to pay their respects to the late Senator George McGovern.   A public viewing was held Thursday afternoon and an evening prayer service is taking place Thursday night.

The former U-S senator from South Dakota and 1972 Democratic presidential nominee died Sunday at the age of 90.   In recent years, McGovern remained active in politics; writing books and acting as an advocate looking for solutions to world hunger problems.  A public viewing was held at the First United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls funeral services are scheduled for Friday.
