Students celebrate Red Ribbon Week
Tuesday, 09 October 2012 15:53
Thousands of Rapid City area students are pledging to stay drug free!  As part of Red Ribbon Week representatives from more than a dozen local schools headed out to Dinosaur Park to hang a large ribbon from the neck of one of Rapid City's well known dinos!

The tradition has been going on for nearly two decades now and organizers say it's a great way to show students that the community is rallying behind them and their choice to stay away from drugs.  Red Ribbon week events will come to a close this Saturday after the annual Red Ribbon Parade which will run through downtown Rapid City beginning at 11.
