Paige McPherson talks to hometown crowd

Last month, Sturgis Paige McPherson took a trip to the Olympic Games in London and returned home as the bronze medalist in Tae Kwon Do.  Sunday, Paige fielded questions from potential hopefuls about her experiences and the long road to the bronze.

Paige says her journey is far from over as she already has her sights set on a trip Rio de Janeiro and a higher climb up the medal stand.  Paige says, 'Well, I definitely have a lot more experience now after the Games. I've literally gone to every important tournament for tae Kwon Do. I've gotten to the top. Now, my goal is just to focus again. The cycle starts all over again until '16. Hopefully, in '16, I'm going for my gold. That's what I wanted this year, but unfortunately, I didn't. So now, I have four more years to wait for that dream.'  In the meantime, Paige is enjoying her time home with a busy schedule. The Sturgis mayor declared Sunday Paige McPherson day and Monday is Paige's birthday.   Not a bad year.
