State Farm looks to keep teen drivers safe

Teen drivers are being encouraged to drive safely in a new program developed by State Farm Insurance. The nationwide program is intended to cut down on the number of fatal teen accidents. State Farm says car crashes are the number one killer of teenagers, and the first year a teenager spends on the road is their most dangerous year.

The State Farm safety program is called Celebrate My Drive.

Matt says, "Trying to celebrate the fact that kids are getting their driver's licenses. And the new freedom that comes with that. But also bring some awareness of the responsibility and the challeges that come with it as well."

Fourteen teenagers and their families will win a Chevy Sonic in the program. You can learn more by going to www.facebook.com/CelebrateMyDrive.
