Thune delivers speech at Republican National Convention
Wednesday, 29 August 2012 16:08
The Republican National Convention continued Wednesday evening in Tampa, Florida, with Senator John Thune taking center stage, at least for a few minutes.

Thune has been a long supporter of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Wednesday, Thune took a stance on domestic issues our country faces, including high unemployment numbers and rising college tuition. The Republican senator says his family came to this country generation's ago in search of the American Dream, but says today, that dream faces many challenges.

Thune says, "I hate to say it, but that dream is in serious jeopardy. We have a sluggish economy burdened by Obama Administration policies that are weighing down our job creators. Middle class Americans in our cities and on our farms are bearing the brunt." Thune says Obama policies hurt family farms and ranches throughout the country, and says a Romney-Ryan White House could change this.
