All the stuff that's needed to look for gold, and process it once you find it, was available at the show. It was a show intended for the veteran prospector and the newcomer.

Dominic Ricci with the Gold Prospectors Association says, "They say at this point that maybe only ten percent of the gold has actually been brought to the surface and found, which is mind-boggling when you see all the gold out there. There's a lot still down underneath the ground."

The Gold Prospectors Association, which sponsored the event, is the producer of the "Gold Fever" and "Alaskan" TV shows on the Outdoor Channel.
