Jackets' football team facing tough schedule

As if making the transition into Division II didn't present enough obstacles, try doing it while adjusting to a new head coach. That's the situation Black Hills State finds themselves in, but first year head coach John Reiners isn't making any excuses.

Reiners faces a big uphill battle in 2012 as his guys will play their first year in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

The Yellowjackets will probably be a little undermanned, but Reiners is embracing the role of underdog.

Black Hills State kicks off the season on Sept. 8 at Idaho State. Their first home game will be two weeks later on Sept. 22 as they will host Colorado Mesa.
