Test scores are in for South Dakota's education system and officials say the numbers remain steady with last year's. There was a slight increase in reading and math scores.

About 75.5 percent of students scored either proficient or advanced in reading, which is one-tenth of a percentage point above last year. About 76.7 percent of students scored proficient or advanced in math, which is up from 76.5 last year. The state's graduation rate did drop from 83.39 percent last year to 83.16 percent this year.
