Downtown brewery a popular stop for bikers

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally obviously shows big numbers in Sturgis, but how does the Rally affect businesses in downtown Rapid City? The Firehouse Brewing Company says business for them during Bike Week has been fantastic.

One of the managing partners of the company says they have been bringing in the bikers for 21 years.

Managing partner of Firehouse Brewing Company Bob Fuchs says, "We do cater to the rally goers big time down here at the Firehouse, and it's always been a great fun stop for them, gives them a reason to get off their bike for awhile and have a beer and some food and relax."

Fuchs says they always seem to beat the year before when it comes to numbers. But some businesses in downtown Rapid City told Black Hills FOX on Friday that they are seeing a decrease in numbers during this week compared to a normal non-Rally Week.
