Custom Harleys 'ride-in' in style for competition
Friday, 10 August 2012 12:44
It's the unique bikes that often draw the crowds in Sturgis, and on Friday afternoon it was all about custom Harleys. Harleys of all shapes and sizes took center stage as the annual Harley-Davidson Custom Ride-in show kicked off.

Individual Harley owners from across the country showed up to show off their sweet rides.

A trophy and bragging rights are at stake, while all proceeds go to benefit muscular dystrophy charities.

Organizers say almost anything goes when it comes to custom bikes, and the Ride-in competition showcases the cream of the crop.

Matt King with Harley-Davidson says, "There's some really wild bikes here. It's everything from mild to wild. Like I said, we got stock classes, we got antique classes, we got classes for all the different families of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, all the way up to the professionally built, just wild bikes."

Tune in to hear from some of the competitors on Black Hills FOX News at 9.
