We've passed the half-way point of the 2012 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  It's still busy here in downtown Sturgis at the corner of Fourth and Lazelle.   And downtown Sturgis is packed once again today.  There were two more fatalities in the Hills Wednesday.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 63-year old Delane Nixon of Belle Fourche and 53-year old Timothy Mueller of Bloomfield, Nebraska were killed when a Honda U-T-V and a motorcycle collided on Highway 34 west of Belle Fourche.  The Patrol says charges are pending against the driver of the U-T-V : 59-year old John Teigen of Belle Fourche.  So far, the Highway Patrol has made 164 D-U- arrests and issued 758 total citations.  The Meade County Sheriff's Office says they've booked 638 people through the County Jail as of this morningm, eight more than at this point last year.  And Regional Health says they've had 48 Rally-related E-R visits in Sturgis, with 15 in Rapid City.
