Mobile home fire Wednesday night

Firefighters battled a mobile home fire last night on South Valley Drive in Rapid City.The call came in about 10:20 last night.Battalion Chief Tim Daly says when fire crews arrived.  And they found heavy smoke and heavy fire in the home.

He says it took them a few minutes to bring it under control.The mobile home was destroyed but, thankfully, there were no injuries.  The Rapid City Fire Department and the Rapid Valley Volunteer Fire Department both responded to the blaze.
