One mom and pop shop in the Heart of the Hills has become a favorite for locals and tourists who pass by. Dairy Twist on Highway 16 is just outside of Hill City.

The family-owned business has been open for 17 years, and they say they have never had a bad year. Dairy Twist has burgers, fried pickles, Indian tacos, cinnamon fry bread nuggets, ice cream and much, much more.

Dairy Twist Manager Leslie Larsen says, "We got a lot of fruity drinks made with ice cream, made with any kind of fruit you like, over 22 different flavors of malts, shakes and sundaes. So that's really a fun thing to say, that we can make over 300 different kinds of shakes. People find that fun." Dairy Twist is open seven days a week.
