Post 164 readies for state tourney

Spearfish Post 164 had a week to remember with a number of highs and lows. After surprising Post 22 in their first meeting with a 14-11 victory, the fighting fish squandered a golden opportunity when they dropped two in a row to the Hardhats on Friday.

Although they may have a bitter taste in their mouths, Post 164 is headed to districts with an opportunity to accomplish even more.  The district tournament is in Aberdeen this year. Spearfish will take on Sioux Falls East in game one on Wednesday at noon.
