State swim meet rolls on in Rapid City
Saturday, 28 July 2012 15:14
Let's take it back to Rapid City for the state swim meet out at the Horace Mann Pool.

We'll start it off with the boys 13 and over 100 mete butterfly. This is the first heat and it was a close one for a while but eventually Parker Evens pulls away in the end for the win. On to heat number two now. All of the lanes were occupied in this race and again the race was close until the last 25 meters when Zach Olson takes this heat easily. Now we have the girl's 8 and under 100 meter backstroke. And I'll tell you what, these kids were impressive. This is the first heat and Autumn Iverson will touch the wall first, she is your winner. And lastly this is the second heat of the boys 100 meter back stroke. This race wasn't even close as Mathew Sorbe blows away the competition finishing a good 20 meters ahead of the next closest competitor. If you missed out on today's event you can check out the finals tomorrow starting at 9:45 AM at Horace Mann.
