High school students "Go to Mines" for a day
Saturday, 28 July 2012 15:14
It was a day for high-schoolers at the South Dakota School of Mines. High school students who have been thinking ahead to a college education were given the opportunity to talk to professors, walk the halls, and get to know the campus.

They were also given a series of information briefings on the programs being offered at the School of Mines, and what career opportunities might result from each of them. Today's event was called "Go to Mines" and is held several times each year to encourage high school students to consider the Rapid City school when the time comes to pick a college.
