Suspect asks for lowered bond

He's accused of fleeing the scene after causing a five-vehicle accident on Haines Avenue that seriously injured three people back in January.  Seth Dismounts Thrice was in Seventh Circuit Court Thursday trying to get his bond lowered from 100-thousand dollars to 25-thousand dollars.

The state argued against that reduction, saying they couldn't locate Dismounts Thrice for a couple of months, and said when they found him he was hiding and had meth with him.  They also cited five previous felony convictions and said he's facing a potential of 210 years in prison with the addition of the new drug charges.   Judge Craig Pfeifle agreed and kept Dismounts Thrice's bond at 100-grand.  His trial is scheduled for September 17th.
