Rapid City Police are trying to identify two people found dead in Roosevelt Park Saturday morning. Police say the deaths appear to be unrelated and they say no foul play is suspected.
A passerby noticed a body floating in Roosevelt Park Pond at about 5:45am Saturday. The man was declared dead at the scene and it appears he may have been in the water for several days. Fire Department personnel then found the body of a second man near the east parking lot. Police say that death appears to be suicide by hanging. |
