Work continues on White Draw Fire

The U.S. Forest Service says work continues on the 9,000 acre White Draw Fire north of Edgemont.  About 70 personnel  continue to work restoring dozer lines, fixing fences, removing hazardous trees and patrolling for hot spots.   The fire started June 29th and was called 100 percent contained July 6th.  The Burned Area Response Team is in the process of assessing fire supression effects to determine is special efforts are needed to prevent further problems after the fire.    A release says that plan may include stabilizing soil and redirectign water, sediment and debis movement.
