Popular parade travels Northern Hills route
Wednesday, 04 July 2012 12:40
Folks in the Northern Hills embraced all things red, white and blue on America's birthday Wednesday. A B-1 flyover helped to kick off the Fourth of July Parade that made its way down Deadwood's Main Street in the afternoon.

The parade featured classic cars, floats, candy, and even a stuntman on two wheels.

From there, participants made their way up the hill for another Fourth of July trip down Lead's Main Street.

The fireworks display over the Open Cut in Lead has been cancelled; however, music and other Fourth of July fun will go on anyway Wednesday evening.
