At least two motorists were transported to the hospital after an S-U-V and a motorcycle collided on Highway 385 on Monday.
The crash happened near the Sugar Shack south of Deadwood. The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Honda Pilot SUV was traveling southbound towards Rapid City on Highway 385 when it collided with a motorcycle traveling north. The Honda Pilot ended up in the opposite lane of traffic and the vehicle had flipped onto its driver side. The motorcyclist was taken by Life Flight to Rapid City Regional Hospital while the driver of the Honda was taken to Regional by way of ambulance. No word on patient conditions at this point, we'll have more on this story as more information becomes available.
