12 people indicted for drug trafficking in Bennett County

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnon says twelve people have been indicted for drug trafficking in Bennett County.  All twelve of the people involved are listed with Martin addresses.   They are 45-year old Claudia Jeanine Apple, 25-year old William Lawrence Apple, 35-year old Ashley Jerome Cottier, 26-year old Jimmy Joe Cottier, 43-year old Belinda Joyce Dubray, 30-year old Brian Leroy Dubray, Jr., 40-year old Monica Rae Dubray, 42-year old Tillie Dawn Dubray, 54-year old David Alan Gotheridge, 42-year old Renee Lynn Mousseaux, 22-year old Michael James Poor Thunder and 53-year old Alex Lee Salway.  The drugs involved include methlphenidate, hydrocodone with acetaminophen, morphine, oxycodone, Fentanyl and marijuana.  Some of the indictments include distributing drugs within 1,000 feet of Oglala Lakota College, Bennett County High School, Martin Grade School and Oglala Lakota College Head Start.  The charges are the result of Operation Prairie Pharm, a controlled substances invesigation conducted by the Northern Plains Safe Trails Drug Enforcement Task Force.
