Wild Bill Days kicks off summer events in Deadwood
Friday, 15 June 2012 16:01
Deadwood's Wild Bill Days are underway.  The band and the roadies spent part of the afternoon Friday straightening cables and getting their sound system tuned up for the concert Friday night.  While that was happening, the world famous DockDogs were getting wet, and loving it, while they demonstrated speed retrieval.

The events start off an entire weekend of fun that kicks off Deadwood's summer event schedule.  Katie Malin says, "And then we've got two really big headlines this weekend in Deadwood. We've got Rick Springfield . And then tomorrow night the Marshall Tucker Band. And both of them will take the stage at eight o'clock."  Not to take away from Wild Bill Days, but the Days of '76 Museum opens Saturday in Deadwood as well, just in time to take advantage of the influx of tourists and fun-seekers.
