The City of Rapid City is looking for some big bidders. The city is holding its annual surplus auction Saturday. Starting at 10 a.m. at the Street Department on Steele Avenue, items from several different city departments will go up on the auction block.

Organizers say they have quite the assortment this year.

Rapid City Street Superintendent Don Brumbaugh says, "Little bit of everything. There's tables and stuff, folding tables from the Civic Center. There's old street signs from Traffic and Engineering where they've now been replacing a lot of the older signs and these are really old ones where they look like a porcelain type material. So they're really old, collectors will get a kick out of those."

Electronics such as computers and televisions will also be available.  Brumbaugh says all the money raised will go back into the city's general fund.
