A South Dakota state inmate who walked away from the Pennington County Corrections Center back in October 2010 is going to have to spend more time in Colorado before coming back to South Dakota.  33-year old Gregory Bakke failed to return from his work release job in October of 2010 and was caught less than two weeks later in Colorado.

He's now serving three years in Colorado for auto theft and eluding police. An appeals court there says Bakke can't serve that sentence and the sentences in other states at the same time.  Bakke's five year sentence for grand theft out of Grant County was set to expire in 2014.  He's since been sentenced to five years for escape here in South Dakota.
