It took searchers 16 days to the find the body of a missing teenager last seen kayaking on Deerfield Lake near Hill City.  His body was pulled from that lake late Wednesday afternoon.  An autopsy was performed Thursday morning, confirming he died of accidental drowning.

Fifteen-year-old Justin Lewis was dropped off at Deerfield Lake over the Memorial Day holiday. He never returned but searchers found his kayak, life jacket and shoes in or near the water.  The Pennington County Sheriff's Office told Black Hills FOX that Lewis was found 30-to-50 feet below the surface after cadaver dogs from Colorado alerted crews to the area.   The sheriff's office says the investigation into the teen's disappearance is now complete.
