Prior to last night's drubbing at the hands of Sioux Falls the ladies had won 6 in a row, and with no post season to look forward to, Barb and the girls want to go into the 2013 season on a high note by winning these last three games. Super sophomores Justine Blade and Janelle Strampe spearheaded the Hardrocker attack today. Second half Mines is up 6 when Hillary Hawking gives the nice head and shoulder fake then knocks down the mid range jumper. It doesn't have to be flashy it just has to go through the hoop. Back come the Beavers as Carly Boag makes the pretty little post move. She gets it to go as Minot cuts into the lead. Next Hardrocker possession Shelane Hampp spots up from the top of the arc. Gets nothing but net as Mines starts to pull away. Later in the frame Hampp registers one of her four assists as she hits Ariel Granillo with a bounce pass to the wing. Granillo cashes in from there as the Hardrockers extend the lead to 8. Next Hardrocker possession Granillo gets it to Justine Blade. She steps out beyond the arc and nails the 3-pointer. The Hardrockers notch their 15th win of the season, 63-53.
