2nd night of the Pink at the Rink promotion, the Rush raising money for cancer awareness. The Rush showing that fighting spirit early in this one as well, Garrett Gruenke and Mike Wakita go toe-to-toe, but not blow-for-blow as Gruenke handily getting the better of the exchange. Rush looking to get the first goal, Andrew Smale tries to feed Scott Wray, but the effort goes just wide. Later, off the face-off, Konrad Reeder corrals the puck and fires, but it's easily gloved down by Charlie Effinger. Scary moment for the Rush, keep your eye on goal as Andrew Courtney just levels Danny Battochio, Bats would be shaken up, but would remain in the game. Ensuing power play, Dominic D'Amour with the one-timer from out front and a couple extra chances to knock it home, but Effinger escapes unscathed again.Final Score Missouri wins 3-2.
