| Ranger Station placed on National Register |

The Hardy Ranger Station in Lawrence County has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. The station was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1936, and consists of two log cabins and a log maintenance barn. The Hardy Ranger Station is 1.5 miles south of O'Neil Pass within the Black Hills National Forest. |
