Once the School of Mines offered this seminar to the public, they received nothing but positive feedback. Scott Wiley with the campus Multicultural Affairs office says, "Other trainings were not being offered and so this one came up and Dr. Craig Howe is very well respected and does a fantastic job with it and so there was a great response to it as soon as we opened the doors for the community. The registrations just flooded in." Wiley says that everyone needs to work across some kind of cultural barrier because in the future it will be beneficial to work competently with other cultures. -Darren Leeds |
