The chamber says this gives the group an opportunity to get their names and faces out in the community.

Community and Event Director for the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce Karissa Eifert says, "I think being part of the expo and also a part of the chamber is a huge benefit to a business, especially those small businesses in our community, you know, there's such an emphasis on buying local and staying local that this is a great way to really see what is available in your community."

The chamber says they were expecting more than 700 people to attend the expo.
