Chadron State Eagles go Long

The Chadron State Eagles have landed a new head football coach, leaving another Black Hills college looking for one of their own. The Eagles have hired Black Hills State Head Coach Jay Long as the man who will succeed Bill O'Boyle on the Chadron State sidelines.

Long graduated from Chadron State in 2001 and played for the Eagles, twice earning all-conference honors in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.Long was also a heavyweight wrestler for Chadron State. Long was head coach at Black Hills State for three years, amassing a 15-and-15 overall record with the Yellow Jackets.
