The sound of a dying motor is not exactly music to the ears. Dori says, "My truck wouldn't start when I got ready to leave. And I came over here to help this gal, she can't get her trailer hooked up." A few motor hiccups in a strange city could have left Dori Hollenbeck and Cacee Cox stranded after their showing at the Stock Show and Rodeo. Dori says, "You have to go around and search for jumper cables or someone who'll jump your vehicle." Unfortunately the two stumbled up a very non-mechanical reporter. I couldn't provide much assistance, but I could provide a fully charged battery. Just what the two needed. Cacee says, "Hiccups happen a lot it seems like." Cox made the trip all the way from Kansas, and was trying to get home today. It's little challenges like a dead battery, or caring for a large animal, that these contestants deal with on a daily basis. Cacee says, "Today my horse, he took a really big slip inside. Sometimes you end up with a crippled horse on the road that you have to take care of and bring home too." Dori says, "There's some things that are challenging. You have to find stalls for your horses away from home." Not always an easy task. But for Cacee and Dori, their time at the Stock Show has come to a close. So after a little jump it was time to once again hit the road. Cacee says, "I'm going home so I can turn around in a few days and head to a show in Mississippi."
