| South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard has appointed Bill Grode of Rapid City to the South Dakota Board of Pardons and Paroles. Grode is a retired FBI agent who served with the bureau from 1983-2006. He was previously a police officer with the Sioux Falls Police Department. Grode succeeds James P. Smith of Pierre, who serived on the board since 2008. Grode's apointment, which is subject to state Senate conformation, is effective February 18th. |
